MARY B. PENDLETON, selected in the field of construction and real estate law as one of ten “Top Attorneys” in 2005 by the San Diego Daily Transcript and as the 2007 Attorney of the Year by San Diego Defense Lawyers, focuses her practice on counseling and advocating for companies involved in transactional disputes.  Ms. Pendleton has significant experience litigating in diverse areas including construction law and real estate disputes, premises and professional liability, product liability and personal injury issues. Ms. Pendleton also has extensive experience in governmental (including inverse condemnation) and private premises liability matters.  She has tried more than $75,000,000.00 in damages alleged by and against some of the firm’s clients. Ms. Pendleton also performs as the Managing Partner of this AV rated firm.

  • Contract drafting and coordinating of insurance resources for commercial and residential projects including mixed use/high rise project developments
  • Advocacy for businesses involved in real estate development, insurance/surety, security and manufacturing
  • Representation on claims of nondisclosure, cancellation of sales contracts, and easement and boundary disputes
  • Resolution of claims of wrongful hiring and poor employment practices in the construction, manufacturing and service industries
  • Defense of and related to governmental entities on claims of defective property conditions including defense of inverse condemnation claims
